Great spoons. no odd aftertaste and very good quality

These are exactly what I was expecting. They are very sturdy and feel heavy duty. I love that they have such a long handle. They do not leave a weird taste in your mouth like some other wooden spoons. We have only had them for about a week but have used them several times and love them. I would say not to leave them sitting in the sink, we wash ours immediately after using them. I will be buying more of these to have in the house.

I had read on a doctor's blog that using a metal spoon to eat honey kills the enzymes in the honey, so I searched for a smaller wooden spoon to scoop honey with. I came across this spoon and bought it. The spoons come in a 6 pack and are individually wrapped. The workmanship is perfect and no two spoons are exactly alike. They are a beautiful red wood with an oil shine that does not wash off, and they look great on my counter top. I now use them not only for scooping out honey, but for spooning out food out of cans, stirring food on the stove, and then, since they are small, for eating as well. They are versatile and wash well. I liked them so much I ordered another 6 pack, and my family now uses them too . Also, I bought a wooden utensil holder with a bit of red wood in it to match the spoon color. I enjoy this new addition to my kitchen and I highly recommend them!
