This trivet set exceeded my expectations. The tree-shaped design is very creative specially star at top .and adds a nice decorative touch to the kitchen. The wood is smooth, sturdy, and heat-resistant. It’s also easy to assemble and store.

This wooden trivet set is both functional and decorative. The tree-style design is absolutely beautiful and looks great on the kitchen counter, even when not in use. The wood feels solid and well-made, and it handles hot dishes, bowls, and teapots without any issues. A very stylish and practical addition to the kitchen - highly recommended.
I’ve been wanting one of these “trivet trees,” as I call them, for a long time and finally came across a great match. The color and finish fit into my living and dining areas better than any others I’ve seen.Made of wood, the finish closely matches the medium-to-dark cherry tone of my table - mostly brown with a subtle hint of red (or maybe my table 'suggests' that red). It blends well with the other medium and dark woods in the room. While I’m not sure what type of wood it is, it’s somewhat lightweight with a smooth, satiny finish and just a slight sheen. A fine wood grain is visible, and all surfaces - including both sides of the trivets - are finished. Aside from the hole in the bottom of the top star, there’s no exposed raw wood.The product photos and videos are very thorough and accurately show how the set works. The listed measurements are accurate, with the exception that the trivets are just under ½ inch thick and perfectly round. They’re held together with two elastic cords threaded through each arm in two locations. The decorative star simply sits on the post via a hole at the bottom - it doesn't screw on. The main post is securely attached to the base with a metal screw and threaded insert, making the entire unit sturdy and well made - it's stable as trivets are removed or replaced.It also works nicely as a decorative piece. I currently keep it on my living room coffee table, where it fits right in. Since we sometimes eat in the living room, it’s easy to put into use there, or easily move it into the kitchen or dining area when needed.I’m extremely happy with both the appearance and function of this trivet set. It works easily and effectively, but also looks very nice left out - and doesn't take up as much space as it provides in protection from hot pots or dishes.
When we visited a friend over the holidays, she had this cute set of trivets in her kitchen. I had to ask whether the "tree" was just a decoration or if it also had another purpose. When she demonstrated how it works, I was quite impressed. I left that evening thinking how much I would like one.Though I got this after Christmas, I left it in my kitchen until I put my Christmas decorations away for the year. My parents came over for New Year's dinner and were equally intrigued by it. My dad, who is a talented wood craftsman, kept looking at this Christmas tree trivet set. When he comments on how well something is made, then you know it's a high-quality piece! He even wanted to borrow it so he could make a pattern as he said that it would be a good gift for their neighbors! I guess he'll have a craft project!This wooden Christmas " tree" consists of four trivets, a stand, and a cute little star topper. The trivets have elastic connecting the individual "branches," which sit flat when a dish is placed on them. Though it stands at around 10" tall, it is rather compact for the number of trivets it has. It is certainly a conversation piece! With the interest it piqued, I am putting this on my Christmas list to give to my neighbors and friends for next year.
This little trivet set is kinda genius. It stores 4 trivets on the little pole, to look like a tree (if you put the little star on top, a Christmas tree - but I like that you can take it off and it’s less seasonal). To use a trivet, you just take it off the pole and put it on your surface, and the weight of the pot/plate/bowl expands it flat. Pick it up, and it contracts back, ready to store in the pole. I love that this is a stylish wood finish that coordinates well with my table. And it’s small enough and cute enough to stay on my table when I’m not using them - so they are always handy when I need one.More importantly, the trivets did a good job of protecting my wood table from hot serving dishes and did not mark up from the heat.The only warning I have is that the trivets are not as large as some of the pictures imply. The dimension in the listing is accurate but one of the pictures shows the legs of the trivet extending out well past the edge of a frying pan… unless that is a 3” diameter frying pan, that pic is bad advertising. You can still use these under larger things like a frying pan, but I was expecting them to be larger based on the listing. To give an idea of size, I included a pic of a trivet under my small sauce pan.All in all, though, I was pretty impressed by this little set- clever design, cute enough to gift, and functional… a trifecta!
