It’s a unique barware
Bought this as an upgrade for my home bar and I’m obsessed. The size is perfect for a proper pour of Scotch or bourbon the wood insulates nicely, keeps things chilled longer than a glass would and doesn’t sweat or get slippery to hold I’ve hand washed it a few times already and it still looks brand new, no water stains or wear.Yes, I definitely use it as a regular glass too had iced coffee in it almost every morning and it’s great. The round shape feels so nice to hold, and the weight gives it that premium feel.

Flawless
I bought this wooden whisky glass for my son as a birthday present. He engraves as a hobby. Perfect size and great quality. Very sleek. As you can see in the pics, it's flawless. Packaging was above and beyond. It comes in a keepsake container for storage. He absolutely loves it.

A Unique Sensory Experience—Not Just a Gimmick, But an Enhancement for Serious Bourbon Lovers
I recently had the opportunity to test this unique charred wooden whiskey glass. I was skeptical at first—after all, a good Glencairn glass is hard to beat for nosing. However, this wood tumbler offers a genuinely different, and quite excellent, way to enjoy specific spirits, especially aged bourbon. Here’s my detailed breakdown:First Impressions & CraftsmanshipThe glass (which is a cup/tumbler, really) arrives well-packaged and has a handsome, rustic appearance. The craftsmanship is immediately apparent: it's turned from solid jujube wood and feels incredibly sturdy and weighty in the hand, much more durable than any crystal alternative. The exterior is sealed with a smooth, food-safe beeswax finish that is pleasant to the touch and resistant to stains. The natural wood grain means each piece is unique, which adds a nice bespoke touch to a home bar set.The Sipping Experience: Flavor and TemperatureThis is where the product shines and justifies its existence:Aroma Enhancement: The interior is hand-charred, mimicking the inside of an aging barrel. When you pour a quality bourbon, the char interacts subtly with the spirit, opening up the smoky, caramelized, and oak-forward notes that might be muted in a standard glass tumbler. The aroma genuinely coalesces at the rim, providing a rich "barrel-proof" nosing experience.Temperature Control: Wood is a natural insulator. The glass maintains the ideal sipping temperature for neat whiskey or a single large ice sphere much better than traditional glass, preventing rapid temperature changes and excessive dilution from melting ice.Mouthfeel: Drinking from the smooth, rounded wooden rim offers a different tactile experience than glass. It feels comfortable and natural.Practicality & MaintenanceIt is important to note the care instructions to maintain the integrity of the wood and the beeswax finish:Hand Wash ONLY: This is crucial. The tumbler is not dishwasher safe. A simple rinse with warm water and mild soap is all it needs, followed by immediate hand-drying.Temperature Limitations: This is for cold or room-temperature spirits only (ideal range is 35°F to 120°F). Hot beverages like coffee or hot toddies may damage the wax seal. The VerdictThis charred wooden glass is not meant to replace your standard glassware entirely, but it is a fantastic addition to any whiskey enthusiast's collection. It's a conversation starter and offers a unique, sensory-rich tasting experience, particularly for bourbons and rye whiskeys that benefit from enhanced oak and smoke notes. It makes an exceptional, memorable gift for a specific type of person—someone who appreciates unique craftsmanship, the ritual of drinking, and the subtle nuances that different vessels can bring to their favorite spirit. Highly recommended for the discerning drinker.Pros:Enhances Flavor: Charred interior genuinely highlights oak and smoke notes.Durable & Unique: Break-resistant jujube wood, each with its own natural grain.Insulating: Maintains ideal sipping temperature very well.Great Feel: Comfortable, sturdy, and well-balanced in the hand.Cons:Care-Intensive: Requires hand washing and is not suitable for hot drinks.

Interesting idea, but not quite my style
I liked the concept of a wooden whiskey glass, but in person it didn’t really match what I was hoping for. The glass is larger than expected, which makes it feel a bit bulky in hand, especially for sipping whiskey. The finish also looks somewhat artificial rather than having a natural, authentic wood feel. It’s functional and might appeal to someone who likes bold or novelty drinkware, but overall it just wasn’t my style. I prefer something smaller and more traditional-looking for whiskey.

Beautiful wood grain
Two things I love: whiskey and woodcraft! This is a visually and tactile appealing item. The jujube has its own natural glow and was made to sit nicely in your palm.Jujube is a non-toxic exotic wood frequently used in east Asian kitchen ware. It has antimicrobial properties and has good resistance to heat and high durability. Remember to mand wash only!So I did some digging into what it's finished with. Frankly the finish doesn't behave like beeswax stay soft and matte finish also smell like honey. It's got none of those so I did engage with the company and their responses were very fast: customer service is A+! Unfortunately, they wouldn't disclose with the exact product line is that they used to finish it due to proprietary reasons. So I got to doing my own investigation. I applied a highly concentrated alcohol to the base and any synthetic would finish. Would have started to break down. I'm happy to report it. Didn't! I also poured hot, not boiling, right water into the cup for several minutes which would have also started to break down any synthetic finish. No signs of breakdown! There may be beeswax to this component, but it's probably more likely some sort of natural lacquer maybe an urushi or cashew based lacquer. You may ask why this matters at all? It's not intended for hot liquids that was more a matter of test of integrity. But if you're using this as a whiskey sipping glass over time, the high proof would eventually wear down break down and cause the drinker to imbibe a synthetic finish. That's a very bad thing for your health so I did go the extra mile to try to figure out what this thing is finished with and I'm happy to report. It seems to be food safe. If the seller could post what it's actually finished with, I think that might put some consumers mind at ease.

Wooden Whiskey Glass
This glass is amazing; it really is made out of wood! Not just wood but it’s made from a solid piece of wood. The inside is charred to enhance the taste of your Whiskey/bourbon. It’s a 10 ounce glass so you have plenty of room to put your shot or double shot in & swirl the whiskey or bourbon around inside to allow the charred wood to do it’s “thing” There is just something about the flavor of charred wood in a good whiskey or bourbon. The wood used is from a Jujube tree. Which seems to be a Chinese date/fruit tree of some sort. Whatever the reason for choosing this particular wood the char inside the glass really adds another level of flavor to the whiskey or bourbon. Plus the outside of the glass is just beautiful. I very highly recommend this Glass.
