The blades are sturdy, don't bend easily, and are decently sharp out of the box. These three knives combined can handle almost any kitchen task, and are a great set for anyone looking for a starter set of knives, or who want to upgrade from a cheaper set. There's only a few downsides to these knives, namely that the knives could have been even sharper out of the box, and the included plastic knife sharpener feels cheap and risky to use. I would recommend throwing out the included sharpener and investing in a set of whetstones for sharpening at home instead.

A really set of knives!

My wife and I have taken almost 30 years to have a knife collection that we depend on. We already have our expensive chef knives but we were lacking a good bread knife and paring knife. We were hesitant with this set because of the price. Usually, good knives cost a lot more. What a pleasant surprise! These are really nice knives and at a great price. They are well balanced and they even have a full tang. Both of these features should be a requirement when looking for a good knife. If we could give this more than 5 stars we would.

Premium Quality Knife Set that Every Kitchen Should Have

Really great knife set. The blades are super sharp and the handles are secure and well balanced. The knife part is stainless steel and I anticipate it will last a long time through many sharpenings. The knives come with a sharpener, too.I home can about 500 to 600 jars of food per year so I do a lot of cutting of food in preparation for the canning process. I also bake bread weekly. The three knife combination are the three knife styles I use the most. I’ve tried all three and I enjoyed using each one. During canning season, it is imperative to have good knives in order to get food preserved quickly and safely.The knives came packaged nicely and would make a great gift set for someone just starting to learn cooking. Since these are common knives, they would be a welcome addition to most people. One thing I do wish they came with is blade covers so they could be stored safely in a kitchen drawer.Definitely would recommend these knives. Five stars.
