GREAT FOR A KLUTZ + PUSHY PETS!!!

UPDATE: Love the dishes, but they do scratch! I was using a regular dinner knife, not a kitchen knife or a steak knife. It was the navy plate, so the scratches definitely show. My guess is that the lighter colors wouldn’t show marks so clearly. I almost bought the all yellow set, now which i had.I break things. I’ll accidentally push it off the counter, or miss the side table if I’m eating or drinking while watching the news on tv. (When a friend’s mother was here for dinner, she asked how many sets of dishes I had. I had only artfully arrange the leftovers from multiple sets of broken dishes with my new black dinner plates.) My wonderful yet pushy cat has broken his share of dishes while checking to see if he wants the leftovers!I love knowing that I have environmentally friendly and attractive dishes that even my cat and I can’t break. Easy to clean too. And the bright colors add to my enjoyment of my food!

I guess I was expecting something a little more “dense” so that’s why the 4 stars. They weigh and feel like the Sterlite plates and bowls I have for the grandkids, but these are supposedly made from wheat. They do look good. The plates are a good size, but the other items are smaller than I imagined. If you’re looking for good looking party-ware or just something simple and durable then this is it. Great for kids!

I like these more than I thought I would. The colors are cheerful and everything is sturdy and seems durable. I damaged one bowl in the microwave while making carmel pecans, so I guess melting sugar is above their heat tolerance, but anything normal in the microwave is fine.

Love these plates! Perfect plastic substitute without any of the toxic chemicals. They’ve held up well in the dishwasher, the only thing is the lighter color can get stained.
