Same great Wusthof quality
Didn't think I would use it as much as I use the 6" Asian knife, but I end up using it for all my mid-large general cutting. The Asian is still preferred for more delicate cutting jobs. Quality is still Wusthof even though its the more economical stamped steel. Edge is very sharp and will see how durable it is over time. I have both forged and stamped. This one is lighter and can see how it could become one of my favorites.

Light Weight But Quality Made
My wife loves the lighter weight of this knife. I love how kind it keeps an edge between sharpening.

Perfect balance for precise cuts/chopping
It's a Wustof, top line quality at an affordable price. Bought this knife for partner's kitchen, it has perfect balance for cutting/slicing/chopping etc. Excellent grip, arrived razor sharp. This is the sort of knife a chef would use, no fancy steel, no frills only what counts; sharpness, balance, durability, utility.

comfortable, quality knife
Great knife! Comfortable, well made. Years ago I used a Wusthof chefs knife and it was much heavier than this presentt offering. This lighter weight - lack of steel - is my only complaint; it doesn't, however, impair the knifes function. Just a matter of preference.
