This was a Christmas gift for my niece who requested one of these...she was thrilled. It's really attractive and nicely made; great color too. From all reports, it works as advertised. I might get one for myself!

I absolutely love my new butter bell! I had no idea how much of a difference it would make until I tried it. The design keeps my butter fresh, soft, and spreadable at all times—no more tearing bread or waiting for butter to soften. It’s also surprisingly easy to use: just add a little water to the base, and it stays sealed and fresh for weeks.
Not sure if I am doing something wrong - I use bottled water up to the line and Kerry Gold Butter OR if the bell shape allows air inside (the lid is not a perfect fit) but there are a few small spots of mold along the rim at the top when I open it after a few days. Is this normal? I love the looks of this and the concept. Just wish it was more hygienic
Super neutral and functional. I kept having issues with my butter getting moldy so wanted to try an alternate method via keeping in the jar with some water. Always fresh and ready for spreading. Keeps butter soft at all times.
