Very high quality under sink mat -- BUT NOT IDEAL IF YOUR PIPES COME THROUGH THE FLOOR.
This is a very solid, well made, and well designed rubber mat to put in a cabinet, under a sink. BUT, if your sink has it's pipes coming up through the floor, not inside a wall and coming out the side of the wall (as shown in product description pictures), it won't work. I measured before ordering and the size was great, but it didn't occur to me that with the pipes coming out of the floor I'd have to cut slots, and defeat the waterproofing benefit in case I get a leak. I've had two houses where the pipes come up from the floor -- one a log home and one where the sink was against an exterior wall on a slab so they brought the pipes up inside the exterior wall to avoid freezing risk. So, don't be like me -- think about these things in advance! But I can't hold my lapse in thinking agains the product -- the quality is high, the trimmable sizes offer a lot of variety and they are easy to cut (I used a utility knife). Even without having the waterproofing I sacrificed by having to cut slots, they are a nice durable, easy to clean and attractive surface to have in the bottom of the cabinet. I also think this product would make an excellent boot tray, for what that is worth.

Great water protection under the sink
Over the years, including before I own my house, they have occasionally been water leaks out of the P-trap under the kitchen sink. As a result, there are water stains, and a very minor amount of buckling on that cabinet floor.This is a great solution, both two cleaning up the look under the sink, and also protecting it from future leaks. The first thing I noticed was the quality. It’s thick, and waterproof. It’s clearly durable, as the heavyweight rubber will not be degrading anytime soonI trimmed it to fit under my kitchen sink. It looks amazing. Like I said, most importantly, though, is that if there is a future drip or leak, this can impede the flow of water and protect my cabinets. For that reason, I view this as a functional, valuable acquisition, and I am very happy with it.

I won't be without an Xtreme Mat!
After having a leak under a cabinet in the past, I've used another style of Xtreme Mat for years under another sink, and it's fantastic, so I wanted to try this style. This rubber under sink mat from Xtreme Mats fits well, looks great, and feels like a great quality mat. It's trimmable, so it can fit as-is under a larger cabinet, like a kitchen sink cabinet, or can be trimmed to use in a smaller bathroom or utility cabinet. The mat is a flexible, but not too soft, rubber material that's easy to slide in place on the cabinet floor. The rim helps hold in spills and smaller leaks, yet fortunately is short enough to fit under water lines/tubing that runs through the lower wall of the cabinet to the dishwasher. This mat is great protection for my cabinet and I'm sure will last for many years to come. I won't be without an Extreme Mat protecting my cabinets! So worth it for peace of mind.

Nice mat,well made, upscale, preserves cabinet
Fabulous mat. This has a nice texture. It's a nice heavy rubber mat. It can be trimmed to fit, and is made to do so while preserving the lip around its perimeter that would help contain water if you had some leak onto it. This protects the wood in the cabinet. I would recommend this being placed in a new cabinet to preserve its condition, or to tidy up a damaged cabinet.The appearance of the mat is nice, it has pleasant upscale patterns embossed that at the same time is washable/ wipe clean surface that does not create crevices to collect debris.I think I will put these in my rental houses.

The brand name, Xtreme Mats, describes this mat perfectly. The high-quality, flexible thermoplastic feels like rubber and flexes easily to install. The weight of this mat keeps it flat, no rolling edges. When I ordered this mat, I knew that it would not work in my kitchen because the pipes come up from the floor. I planned to use it under a bathroom sink. However, this is such a nice large mat I’ve decided to use it next spring for a plant tray. The ridges will keep any water leakage from plant pots contained. The ridge around the perimeter of the mat is .5” The interior ridges are 3/8”.
