Accurate Temperature, Does Glow in the Dark
I'm not sure why you need glow in the dark thermometers, but these do in fact glow in the dark after being exposed to light. The thermometers measure temperature accurately and give you the temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. they all reflected the same ambient air temperature. The dials are easy to read in this smaller thermometer. It is a good value to get so many thermometers for this price, and this ensures that you can always find one when you need one, or share with friends or family.They come with a tube that encases the thermometer to protect it, but can also be used to hold the thermometer out so that you don't have to hold potentially heating metal. This will be more useful if you plan to hold the thermometer in something hot for a protracted period of time to spot check the temperature (rather than just putting the thermometer in say a hunk of meat before you cook it). Those would be situations like checking to see if something that is done by the cook time is actually done, and when heating water to a set temperature.

These thermometers get the job done. Out of the pack of 6 there was one that was a little off when compared to a digital thermometer. Otherwise I felt the other ones did well and were within 1-2 degrees of the digital thermometer and my other analog thermometer. I would say it is accurate enough for everyday use.I don't have young eyes anymore, and I found them a little difficult to read since the numbers are pretty small. The length of the product was good though. It was easy to use to temp things from chicken to the milk and warm water for bread making. One feature I really like is the probe covers, on too many occasions I have jabbed my hand on my old analog thermometer when looking for something else in the drawer. The cover also comes in handy for checking temps if you want to make sure it is maintaining at the right temp as you cook since you can use it to hold the thermometer in place too. The clip also makes it so I don't even have to put it in the drawer, it can easily be clipped somewhere handy.I don't know about other people, but we grill year round, and sometimes it is dark at dinner time in the winter. The glow in the dark feature is quite handy for checking meat temps while on the grill.Since I really don't need all 6, the rest will be given as gifts to my adult children as they move out--hopefully soon.

These are great! I ordered these because my last one broke. I appreciate the fact that there are 6 of them.They are accurate, and easy to read and use.Size is nice and the covers for the probes are handy and stay on when storing.I did leave one inside my prime rib when cooking, and the glass bubbles up, so I don't recommended leaving in your item for baking. Take the temperature and remove and finish cooking.Overall nice product for the price and for me, I appreciate that I have five more.

Great food thermometer set, work as expected
