This knife set will be treasured by the at home experimental cook to the hunter processing animals. I will not rehash numbers in the description etc. but rather tell you what I like. I think number one for me is its completeness. I think it was a wise choice to include a pair of cut resistant gloves for cutting. A close second in my favorites is this giant set is actually a space saver. If you have little to no organization of your cutlery, then how are you going to have the right tool for the jobs when you need it? I can say without reservation; with care this can last a lifetime. Great purchase, superior quality craftsmanship and great holiday gift.UNBIASED - Amazon Vine reviewers are not paid for reviews, be it positive or negative. I will never recommend a product I would not buy myself. I treat ALL vendors with respect and fairness but my duty is to You, the in my reviews. GREAT set of knives in a beautiful magnetic knife block PLUS wonderful extras

This is a wonderful set of knives that you can place on the gorgeous magnetic knife block - it is lovely enough to keep out on your counter! It comes with 5 serrated steak knives, a paring knife, a bone-cutting knife, a Santoku knife (I will have to look that one up), a serrated bread knife, a carving knife, a chef's knife, PLUS a vegetable cutter, a separate veggie peeler, kitchen shears, and a honing steel (knife sharpener), PLUS a set of kitchen gloves and a pot holder.See my photos, please. The first shows some of the knives/extras on the knife block (one of the steak knives is in the dishwasher) plus the black cutting board and the little instruction manual. For the second photo, I turned the knife block around so you see more of the knives. My third photo shows the knife block where I will be keeping it, which is just to the left of my gas cooktop - I have a very narrow counter space there but this fits perfectly in front of a couple of ceramic utensil containers. I love it!I have already used 2 of the steak knives plus the paring knife (to cut an apple) plus the bread knife (to slice a big bagel); they felt wonderful in my hand and worked great. I love to cook and I will enjoy learning how to best use each of these knives, especially those I haven't had before (like the Santoku and the bone-cutting knife). I had never heard of this brand, but it looks like they have been in business for about 40 years and so far I am quite impressed with them! And at the current coupon price of $75.99 (as of 11/20/25) for all of these knives and extras, it's a great value.
