Cute and functional butter crock

I'm happy with my purchase of this butter crock. I love the color, the quality seems good, and the price was reasonable. The YYHY logo on the front is a little weird, but it's not very noticeable. I did not think it would hold a full stick of butter, but it does. If you've never used one of these before, they are great. The water in the bottom helps to keep the butter fresh without refrigeration. The butter is still a bit stiff, but it's much more spreadable than it would be straight out of the fridge.

Butter will get moldy

I bought this crock so that my butter would stay room temperature. The butter still gets a little too cold leaving the butter hard, and I’ve also found that my butter can get moldy within a day of filling it. I live in PA and it’s December - so cold. If it’s getting moldy now, it will definitely be moldy in warmer months. I would not recommend this.
