These are great spoon rests that look nice enough to use in any room.
These exceeded my expectations!I normally just use a small plate to hold utensils that I'm cooking with. These spoon holders will solve that issue. I've had plastic ones in the past, but they didn't hold up well and they'd get stained, as is the nature of plastic. These ceramic dishes are perfect! They are large enough to hold even my widest pancake flipper spatula, or multiple spoons when I'm cooking multiple dishes, which is most nights. They go through the dishwasher just fine. Easy to scrub if you happen to get a bit of melted cheese on them, no worries. These have very nice weight to them, definitely not any cheap dishes but actual good quality. I was worried about the spout part for possible tipping when I put a heavier handled utensil in this dish, but the dish itself is heavy enough that tipping shouldn't ever be an issue. The grooves in the design are really nice for letting the liquid drain away from the spoon, and the raised sides keep any collected liquid from running all over the countertop.Definitely a nice set here. I love that there are 2 of them, because I don't always run my dishwasher every day, and this allows me to have a spoon rest in the washer waiting to be cleaned, with the other one in use while I'm cooking the next supper. The listing photos show these in use as a trinket dish as well, and I thought it was odd until I opened mine, and yes these absolutely are nice enough to use in any room in your house! It could be a nice little bar soap dish in the bathroom. A key holder dish by the front door. Jewelry holder in the bedroom. The design is nice enough that makes it more versatile for sure.I recommend these, especially if you've never used a spoon rest before! You'll wonder how you ever survived cooking meals without them!
