Good product but a little awkward
I have two Staub pans that have heavy lids. The one for the 6 qt dutch oven fits this stand. The larger 13"glass lid is too thick to fit. I like that there is a big space behind to fit large spoons, forks, turners, etc. but it's awkward getting to them when the lid is also in place. Don't know a better option, though, other than spending a ton of money for a purpose-build Staub or Le Creuset lid holder.I like ALL of the Yamazaki items I've bought. Great brand, sturdy and usually attractive items.

Holds Cast Iron Lid & Catches Drips - Impressed!
This lid holder has been on my wish list for a while since I learned about this from America’s Test Kitchen. Then a few days ago, Alexa (Echo) notified me about the lower price. But I had to think about it because I already have two spoon-rests on my stove. Do I really need a separate lid holder? Or is this gonna be another, “I thought it’d be useful but not really” item? But cold weather’s here and that means I’ll be using more stove tops = losing my lid resting spot. So I ultimately decided to get it. And BOY, I’m so glad that I got this because I LOVE THIS!This fit right in the middle of my four-burner stove. I was a bit worried when I first saw this because it’s not that big or too heavy, but yes, this holds my 6 qt cast iron lid! And when I used this to hold a big slow cooker lid, the drip tray worked wonders, and I didn’t have to wipe the counter at all. And the drip tray is removable and very easy to clean as well.What a cleverly designed piece of art this is! I’m soooooo impressed! Thanks, Alexa!

Have you ever been cooking and either needed to stir the pot or add more ingredients? We all have. You then have the super hot lid, where do you set it down? Put lid down on the counter without burning your hand handle-side down or place it wet side down making a mess on the counter or you've been prepping on the counter and no room to put lid as you dont have room- not great choices. I saw another similar product made by a pots and pan manufacturer. Cost was more than double. We have heavy cast iron pans and also pans with lighter glass lids and stainless steel lids large, small, heavy and lightweight. We decided on this after reading reviews. This is a great product because....1) it can be used as a spoon rest as well as a pot and pan lid holder2) it holds many size lids, no matter the weight3) can hold your spoon and the lid at the same time4) base doesn't scratch counters - small pads on bottom5) has small square inner plastic liner that pops out so you can wash easily.See photos of various sizes lids this will hold. The Best Spoon and Pot Lid Holder
Received one as a gift and after the first use I purchased another. This rack is great. Not only does it hold spoons and other cooking utensils, but it holds pot lids in addition. It will hold all size lids upright so the condensation drips into the tray at the racks base. No more turning lids upside down on the counter top or having a mess on the counter top from the lid condensation. The tray in the base is removable for easy cleaning. I highly recommend these.
