Good temputure, Easy to clean
There are many different carafe/pitchers that keep things hot or cold but they are all hard to clean. You need a special bottle brush scrub it. I like that my whole hand can fit inside with a sponge to simply clean this. There is no extra lip on the inside to cut my hand or build up any food bits like other carafes. Easy to remove or secure the top with just a quarter turn. Makes it easy for people with arthritis or other limited grips. It is also very easy to put in the dishwasher. I usually pop the magnet top off and stick it to the front of the dishwasher (or fridge) while everything else goes in (so I don't lose the magnet). The paint is enameled on? I'm not sure but it looks fresh and perfect after many uses, not chipped or peeled like other brands I've used.I really appreciate that you can buy the french press top and it works perfectly in this. Most manufactures are not interchangeable, forcing you to spend more money to buy a separate french press from their insulated carafe. To me this is really a big deal as it shows a more customer oriented philosophy from a company, which is exceedingly rare.If I had to criticize it, it would be its weight; which is also its strength. It is very well made, very heavy duty, very durable, but that also means it is heavier than most carafes. I could see someone with limited strength or grip having difficulty lifting a full pitcher to pour. Also you need to remember to slide the magnet closed after pouring or your coffee will cool much quicker. It seems like a small hole but a lot of heat escapes if you leave it open.
