This bag drying rack is great! I usually am trying to set my silicone or plastic bags for drying by balancing them on other items in the drying rack, or tucking onto the ‘cup-holder’ slots; it’s never very satisfactory. This rack is the perfect thing, and it has an absorbent DE (diatomaceous earth) mat at the base to quickly absorb drips. It is very sturdy overall: in fact, sturdy enough to even serve as extra drying-rack space for small dishes. I am extremely happy with this item: it’s compact enough to easily fit next to my existing dishrack without taking up too much counter space but kept in a handy place for these applications, and it does the job perfectly. This is a good value for the convenience and utility that this offers.EDIT TO ADD: I just want to add that this is the *perfect* solution for drying the pieces of aluminum foil that I've washed for reuse! Great for drying reusable baggies
I purchased this for reusable baggies that my husband uses to take trail mix and carrots to work in. I also have recently purchased reusable vacuum sealed baggies for hamburger when I buy it in bulk and although they are all dishwasher safe they don't dry in there and I did need a rack for those and this does work perfect. It does have a removable drying stone on the bottom and I do believe you can throw the entire thing in the dishwasher to clean it if it's starting to get a little dusty. I currently have a baggie on it and it is working perfect to dry it out without me having to go in with a cloth and really dry it I can leave it on the counter overnight and then pop it back in the drawer until I need to use it again. It is made extremely well. It is a black thick metal again it does have the drying rack at the bottom. It doesn't look bad sitting on the counter and it does exactly what it is supposed to do
