After 7 years of use, this lunch bag is terrific. It is durable and handy. It's the perfect size for one person and the neoprene material insulates the contents. The zipper opening seals the insides and the carry handle is very convenient. It even looks nice, and the price is reasonable.
I was looking for a lunch container that would stow inside my backpack so didn't want anything large. I didn't want something accidentally leaking out into my backpac. This neoprene sack did the trick. It was a little larger than I had imagined but it fits well in my medium size pack with plenty of room for other stuff. Although it folds flat vertically, when you put something like a sandwich or container in there the bottom flattens out and let's you stack your food easily. It zips shut and the zipper has a nice pull on it. If my backpack is pretty full I fold the handles down and it usually goes right in.Of course it is a soft container so you still have to watch it if you're traveling with crushable foods. I generally some kind of container in the bottom and then put the more easily bruised items on top and that seems to work well. I'm not sure I would recommend this if you were going to carry it by itself all the way to your destination unless your food was all in containers inside or you're very careful with it.The price was right and the quality is great.
This is really lightweight and not too big. Great for a small lunch. I purchased this for my 94 year old uncle who lives in an assisted living home. He is very health conscious and takes an avocado or other fruit, plus three bottles of spices (as he finds the food plentiful but bland) and a small sharp knife (with a sheath) down to meals in the dining hall. He has to help his wife who uses a walker and this little bag fits perfectly over the handlebar of the walker or in the storage spot under the seat. Probably not what most people buy this for, but it has been great. And if it gets grimy, it goes through the washing machine just fine. (Have not put it in the dryer.)
Good lunch box for those that want to keep food cold/contained without dealing with the bulk of larger lunch "boxes." Its made of neoprene, so its pretty waterproof and easy to clean with soap and water. It also expands and contract well depending on what you want to put in there. My only complaint is that the handle section of the bag is larger than it really needs to be, but that doesn't interfere with its function at all.
The bag is very durable, fits more than it seems, and keeps my cold stuff cold for a good while. The zipper works strong. There was a faint smell when I first opened the package but that disappeared in about a day. All around highly recommended.
I purchased 2 of these to carry my kids' lunch to school. We haven't used them just yet, as it is still summer break. However, our items arrived in 2 days, they were packaged very nicely, the quality was amazing, very spacuous and high quality. Just to give it a try, I tested out an ideal school lunch to pack. I was able to fit a Thermos food jar, cookies, chips, fruit, and a juice pouch with plenty of room to spare. I was so pleased with the product, I ordered another for a friend and a larger bag for my lunches.
