You can place in a bag sideways with no spills

My hubby only has use of one hand. He needs his other for his cane. So this gives him independence. He can get a drink, place it in an over the shoulder bag, walk to the other room, enjoy his drink. Not sure if it would be good all day in a backpack, but works well for our purposes. I use one bedside with straw (willleak around straw hole if tipped when this option is in use) but he wanted something a little more secure than an open cup if he happens to knock it over. Straw is good for taking meds in bed. Easy to clean out. I like the grip strip too. Love that they stack and don't take up space like a water bottle. Wash before using.

Good cups for younger kids

These are great cups of you want to go the non toxic route. I was used to using plastic cups for my little ones because they were lighter and easier to carry around but the kids use them constantly so I wanted something that was the plastic. I love the silicone grips they come with and the fact the drinks stay fresh in here longer. I love the lids because when the cups is fallen over it slows the spill down to where clean up is fast and easy. What could be improved is the straws. My kids have bitten some of them and they turn sharp and are cringe to look at. Maybe if the straw were a little thicker this couldn’t happen. Another thing that could be improved is the little silicone piece that seals where the straw goes in is turning black on some and I just have to throw that little piece away since it won’t come off after washing and scrubbing it good. Overall these cups are great and I would purchase them again in the future.

Good for cups, does not replace travel water bottle

This is a good product, but there are some downsides.I love how this is an inexpensive alternative to plastic water bottles that crack, potentially leech harmful chemicals, and degrade in the sun.These don’t scratch easily, don’t dent when dropped (or even thrown by toddlers), and fit easily in most cup holders. They also look nice, and the colored grips on the outside wipe off easily and prevent the kids from mixing up their drinks.The downsides include that they are a bit small. They don’t hold enough to bring for more than a quick car ride or stroller walk. My kids drink a lot more than 8 oz in an hour if we are outside.Also, the style of lid leads to spillage, even when you aren’t using the straws.Finally, the ease of removing the grips is a plus and a minus in that busy littles can easily take and lose them.Overall, a decent product, but not a replacement for a go-out water bottle
