Ice, ice baby! (Vanilla ice) lol
It’s Slightly large people! But it holds a gallon, perfect for summer months during construction or high heat activities.This one Keeps ice for 2-3 days (mainly because of its volume) and cold for at least four, as I found out when I forgot about being in my work truck last week. I have a couple of these big water containers as It’s sometimes 100 degrees.Filled this particular one with all ice and a little water at gas station Monday morning then, I remembered it was there wendsday and still has small amount of ice clinking about when I took a drink. Thursday afternoon, another big drink and it was still cold. Amazing. Kept in a shady spot under tool box cavity but still it’s high 90s -100 this last week.I like that the optional internal straw is designed ergonomically correct (for my mouth anyways) soft plastic part pops up and out 3/4” - in such a way that it’s always there when you open small cap. This is due to slightly stiffer than normal silicone tube that attaches and “lands” in bottom of container with a length and slight bend that pushes plastic piece up constantly with out being pinched off or blocked.I also like that the robust metal carry handle is just the right length, when folded out the right way can hold back hinged small cap so that when pouring into another vessel the cap doesnt flip down from gravity and block flow.I also found out that even though you can’t “one handed” hold this and tilt it to drink -you can, in a pinch, use oversized carry handle as the end fulcrum point to drink with bottle laying on your forearm and lifting your elbow up kind of sideways (like moonshiners use to do with their old fashioned oversized clay crockery used for whiskey)Great bottle! lol and kind of fun- for me this is a keeper.Designed correctly to be multi functional and durable.
