I ordered black marble because it was priced lower -- I still don't know why this should be so. I'm very happy with the weight, the looks, the size, everything. It seemed slightly reluctant to spin at first but tweaking the handles in opposite directions a bit took out the stiffness (or so I imagined, hard to say). If I find myself needing any other cook-related tools in the future, I will definitely seek out this company (Zulay) again.
