It's perfect. Not too large. Just like my Mom's from 75 years ago except for the handle. I honestly don't use this for mashing potatoes, although I've mashed thousands of them in my life. Works really well. What I like to use this for is to break up ground beef while cooking. It truly does this very well. Truly ground... not clumps. Good price.
As noted in the sellers description, this potato masher won't scratch our new pots and pans, the food grade silicone is very tough, dishwasher safe, and has a lifetime guarantee! I highly recommend this seller!

I use it often. The only thing I can say that wasn't the best - it is too big for my bowls! Other than that it is well made, easy to clean with the silicone sheets over the squiggle part and the thickness of the handle holds well in the hand, much like a wise that you need to use long enough for a stiff whip... same kind of grasp!
Very nice addition to my kitchen. I use this for refried beans in a heavy, non-stick pan. This does not scratch. Easy to clean.

Just what I was looking for. It’s not just for mashing potatoes, although it does a good job. I bought it to mash ground beef in the pan while I’m browning it!! Lots easier than a wooden spoon and much more effective!!
