Works great when preparing artichokes, peeling apples, potatoes, daikon radish and that's about all I've tried with it so far. Nice and sharp, great size and feels good in my hand. I rotate between this and the cutco clip point.

The inverse curve on this makes slicing through things and paring fruit, etc, a breeze. The knife feels very comfortable in the hand, holds an edge very well, and is easy to sharpen. No complaints and recommend it for those who need it.
Can't go wrong with German workmanship. I had to drill done a bit to find a Zwilling Henckels knife that is made in Germany although that detail may not be important to others. Gift for my brother; it's solid, well made, durable. We have a full set that is over 25 years old. Going strong.
It is fairly sharp but $50 for a lightweight knife is a bit expensive. We bought a Wusthoff knife about 25 years ago at TJ MAXX for $10 and I used that knife for everything. It just disappeared one day and I haven't found another one like it. I have a suspicion my grandchild did something with it...lol
I’ve been using this knife since 1995, and I haven’t found a better one that fits my hand.It’s the only shape I’ve never hurt myself with.
